Video from my South African Safari

Okay, since I’ve been up for so long, I might as well finish these posts, right? First, let me say Happy Birthday, Sis! I’ll call you later today.

We’ve already established (elsewhere in this blog) that I am pretty lousy at goodbyes. But something in me tells me that this Africa blog isn’t done yet :)

The last six weeks in Africa (Ghana and South Africa) were an incredible blessing and I am so grateful to have had the experience. Truthfully, I am a little depressed to be gone from Africa, but making these two videos (scroll down to the bottom of the April page for my Ghana video) has been a nice reminder of the people who made the trip so special. I hope you enjoy the blog, the pictures, and the videos! Thanks for supporting me and joining me for this wild ride.

For now, here is my South African Safari video:

Blessings to you all!

Just like your first video, this one is amazing!
My favourite animal is still the rock-eating monkey! =D
I can see once more that you have really immersed yourself in Africa!

I'm very curious to know if you have lived in other countries while growing up (or maybe visited often?), because you have very good intercultural skills - something that usually shows in people who've grown up in more than one country.
Either way, I once more commend you for your ability to immerse yourself in the environment that you are and to enjoy it to the fullest.

I hope you are also glad to be home (but if not, feel free to email me and vent about it! I know how tough it can sometimes be coming home after a wonderful trip (we miss the visited country so much, right?!!!)).

    Take care!

  4. Maira, one of my CSC colleagues married a girl he met through a blog. It sounds crazy, but I can see how -- I have totally become FRIENDS with you through my blog, and I am so excited :) I will email you on your IBM ID now. Thanks again for reading this and being on this journey with me -- you've been here from before I left until after I returned, and I am so grateful!
